We love trying out different homemade dog treat recipes because they are often healthier options for our pups and lack the preservatives you often find in store bought treats. So when we stumbled upon this pumpkin peanut butter pupcake recipe, we knew we had to try it! If your dog has a birthday coming up, or you are just looking for a reason to spoil them with something delicious, you have to give these pupcakes a try! They are so simple to make, with ingredients that your pup will love. The main star in these pupcakes is pumpkin, which is very soothing for your dog's tummy, and make the cakes creamy and delicious. The other healthy ingredients include peanut butter, carrots, greek yogurt, and oat flour - packing in some great nutritional components for your pup. And with an optional peanut butter yogurt frosting, these treats are so good that you just might have to try one for yourself! This recipe makes six pupcakes, which will keep in the fridge for up to one week. You can also freeze them to make them last longer. Another great idea is to share these yummy treats with all your other dog-loving friends. They, and their pups, will definitely appreciate it!
